Yes, it is official.....



SUNFLOWER SEASON IS HERE!!!

I am so excited! Everyone plant your sunflowers now. He he. So last weekend I found a MILLION giant sunflower seeds at me house and I was so excited to plant them in the flower bed. But my mother told me I had to wait and plant them somewhere else because the way that she water those plants isn't the way you should water seeds.... blah blah blah. So while she was doing something, I snuck out side and planted 3 seeds. I AM SO EXCITED! Haha. What a shock she will get when they start growing. I only hope she doesn't think they are weeds and pull them out. Anyways. However you have to get the job done, PLANT YOUR SUNFLOWERS.

I cannot think of a more beautiful flower in the whole wide world.

Weekend.

I went home Friday to see my ill mother. It happened that I wasn't feeling well either. So We both just laid on the couch and watched some T.V. Saturday my mom woke me up EARLY and said, "OK, I am not staying here today. Lets clean up and go out." (My mother has been sick for a week+. She was in the house for 5 days straight and then left to see the doctor, get medicine and a little work.) So we changed her room to spring time. I don't know if she is the only one that does this, or if it is normal. She has winter sheets and spring sheets. So her room now looks so summer-ish. Then finally we went to our favorite place. California Pizza Kitchen. Yummm, so good. And then went shopping at Desert Ridge for like a year. Oh, we lost our car in the huge parking lots. It was very funny. I was all embarrassed that we kept circling looking. But my mom met two other people that lost their car too. She was all proud to make friends.

Well our night ended with more shopping and very cute frames for the living room. Oh and a chocolate shake from CHICK-A-FIL-A.

*side note:
Chick-A-fil-A is probably the greatest chocolate shake maker in the world. I advise you to right now, if you have one nearby, to leave and go get one. I am so sad that Thatcher does not currently own one. It will be worth the trip.

But it was such a fun day. We went to all these house store and found PINK yard and gardening tools. I was set on buying a PINK shovel. But for SOME reason, SOME people don't believe you have a need for PINK in your life. It was sad....

Sunday I woke up, late as usual and ran around to get ready for church. I was crimping my hair, but since I cut it, I can never do the back because it is so short. So my brother crimped the back for me. BAHAHA! I was so scared he was going to burn me. But it was pretty good. He was a trooper. Church was good because I got to see little Chloe and Sophie. They were so cute in there sun dresses. (Well church would have been good regardless, but I enjoyed seeing them.)

That day I also convinced Alyssa Jesser (A.J.) to come to MEXICO with me! OK, funniest blog of my life. Go look at her blog Alyssa Loves. It is worth your time. So Funny.

And now I am back at school enjoying a very depressing lecture on civil rights.

OMG

There is a tornado coming.

Yesterday all the power went out in Thatcher and Safford. Today I was sitting in my car and it almost blew over. Needless to say.... We have a tornado coming.

Yesterday Izzy's Beauty School had a little fashion show. I went and watched Ashli. Bahahaha!!!! She should LIVE in the 80's! She looked so good! I was really funny. She left her the same way today. Totally PRICELESS.

Huge baby SCORPION!

Yes. It was coming towards me on the ground and I screamed and I yelled at Ashli. (A lot of help my roommate was! She was stunned and I killed it with my left TOMS shoe.) It was so scary. I called my dad. He started LAUGHING! Whyyy? I don't know. His baby girl almost died. It is just sad. I checked my pulse too. Ashli just thought it was all hilarious. Why am I surrounded by evil people?

Everyday....

This was my day today:

Woke up at 8! (Tuesdays are the only days I don't have my 8am classes)
Ate cereal in bed. (went shopping the night before.)
Played on the computer a bit.
Spent a good 30min just laying in bed listening to Frank Sinatra.
Started getting ready for the day.
Crimped all my hair and then decided to wear it up.
Put make-up on. (First time to do this at school in what? a month???)
Church dressed for Devotional.
Went on a walk with Meigen.
Was extra early to Devotional.
Devotional was a musical one. I normally try to avoid these. But I was early and sitting in the front so it forced me to stay. It was so amazing! So much talent here.
Went to Book of Mormon.
Then to Living the Productive Life of the Gospel (I think that is what it is called).
Then came home. Chatted with AJ.
Took a much to short nap.
Took my math midterm. (long over due)
Did my psychology homework.
Got all excited to go to the CUTEST scrap booking store (but it was closed).
Now I am back listening to good old Frank.
I have 30 min's until my psychology class. I think I might clean-up my room and lay down. Or eat? Probably I will eat! yummm.
Mother. I hope your good health returns to you.
Oh. I am going to spend the long 3 hours in class writing to my missionaries. (Well not "MY" missionaries. But the missionaries that I have been writing. To say Hi to. Bahaha. At EA that phrase could mean something completely different.)
Then all night I will be studying for bio.
Today is pretty productive. I am proud.

GOOD NEWS!!!

My keys are found!!!!

I was so worried. I will never ever ever lose them again. I love them SO much.

Then this happened. I don't like when people tell me I can't do something. So in result I make myself sick.

OH the things that happen!


Friday morning at approx 3ish AM Meigen took a girl to the airport and picked up our good friend Alyssa Jesser. So then around 12ish PM Alyssa and I drove back to Ptown. (Kinda boring for Alyssa. But the car ride was SO fun. Like seriously. There was this one part where we found the karaoke version the "Thunder Rolls". Bahaha. Alyssa is pretty good.)



We went to Sonic before and had some serious difficulties opening up this water bottle. Poor Alyssa. She was so parched. Bahahaha. Priceless.



Oh. And there was this row of 6 BIKERS dudes and I started passing them, but then I car came and I was in between them for like 30 MINUTES. Three in front 3 behind me. I kinda felt like I was in a gang. Oh but wait. 2 of the bikes were in these tricycles. Hello? That's NOT tough. I took pictures.



Later that day...


Friday night I was Australia with my mom. LONGEST MOVIE EVER! There was 3 times I thought it was over. But nope, it kept going. It was a good movie. A little bit intense, but I enjoyed it.

Saturday Sarah came over and told us Bobby was in the hospital. Gezzz. This family deserves their own wing in the hospital. So we took the girls. Grandma took us to Cricket park. Nap time came quickly. I love nap time!




So once they were out I left with Alyssa and Rachel to Mill Avenue. First we stopped and had a chocolate shake with our very bestest friend Taylor Webb.





Mill Ave baby! Took a bit to get there. Rachel giving directions and Alyssa driving. The roads were kinda a mess. And it was an adventure.





Later that night, I came home and put the girls to bed. (My mom did the hard work of getting them ready for bed.) And went to Target where I kidnapped Tay, Rachel, and Alyssa and made them come to Chili's. PJ's and all. :D




And today is Sunday. The girls are home and I am leaving for school early in the morning. Currently I am sitting on the couch with the rest of my family and we are having a debate on when Sister Black is coming home on her mission. My mom is making a very convincing argument that Nov. 2008 to Nov. 2009 is 13 months. I told her that that is fine, but for the rest of the world (the ones that use the calendar as a measure of time) we know there are 12 months in a year. Although, I myself am starting to believe her.

It's amazing how things change.

Say Whaa?

I am at work. The phone started ringing. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WE HAD A PHONE! So I just ignored it. Was that the best choice? Probably not. But I have a thing called "Phone Phobia". It's legit. Look it up.

This morning I went on my second field trip for Bio. Unfortunately I did NOT bring a camera. We went a hour up the mountain to Noon Creek and saw plants. Yes, ALL the plants in the wild have names. And I have to know ALL of them (or so it seems). The ride back was... interesting. Let me share, if you do not know me well, them I have no clue why you are wasting your time reading this, but I have a tendency to talk. And talk. And talk. Especially when I get nervous. He asked us about boys. Ashli was dying laughing in the car and I just wanted to curl up and disappear. It was painful. And Ashli enjoyed every moment of it.

BAHAHA. Something just happened at work I MUST share.

A boy walk my office (I work in the EA game room) and he got a phone call. As he was very very carefully picking out his pool stick (they all look the same to me) he answered it. It was quite obviously a girl on the other line. A special girl it sounded like. He said, "Hi. I am going to play pool then take a shower and then got back to my room." talking on the other line "Well is it OK if I call you later?" more talking. "Are you going to be mad?" talking "Well will you answer?" more talking.... then he looks up and yells to his bubby "Yo play for me" and walked away with the phone. SO FUNNY. Funny how girls control boys so much.

Well. Basically I should get studying again. I have tests to take tomorrow and I have done everything BUT study. I took a nap. Talked on the phone. Caught up on the office. Blogged. Looked at other blogs. Looked at scrap booking. (occasionally worked) and now I am just waiting to go home.

Oh. I am coming back to Ptown tomorrow. I have a date to go to the lake. Hmm. I am looking forward to it.

oooo OUCH!

I so clumsy. This morning I woke up and my knee kinda hurt and as I was getting out of bed I had a huge bruise! (well first I thought it was a bug and was FREAKING out. But it was just an injury, silly me.) I must have done it Sunday or Monday. I don't recall.

And then I was doing my hair and for seriously burnt my left middle finger. Second burn in a week! So that might be why I am sporting the very lovely over sized green ty-dye shirt and track pants today...... perhaps?

More excitingly, I received a letter from ELDER LUNT yesterday! It totally made my day. And WOW! I can already tell that he has changed SO much! I am so happy for him, he is a great missionary.

That's about all for today. Although I am missing my little girls SO MUCH! Chloe and Sophie! I can't wait to come home and see you! I watch the video we made ALL the time. NO GETTING ANY BIGGER!

Well, my life isn't that exciting to report on today is it? I am deeply sorry. There is only 50 more of my days left at for my 1st semester of EAC. I am so excited to have a year behind me!
