Just takin' a walk.

So I have found that when I need to think, and find some reason with my thoughts, I can't be in the confining walls of our apartment. So, normally its night time, walking is the best cure. I have a favorite spot, and like to go there when I need to think and talk to certain people. Well, tonight while I was in mid-thought, Owen came and we talked for a long time. Owen happens to ALWAYS have a rope with him, he thinks he is all cowboy or something.... ;). Well, I have been practicing and regardless of what he says, I am getting pretty good. We went on a walk, well back to my apartment, but got side tracked by the empty canal. Owen just straight up jumped over the little wall down in the sand. I mean its not that far, but still. Crazy. So then after HELPING me down we walked through that a little. And I saw a skunk! It was WAY insane. It was up on the bank and we were in the canal so all I could see was the tail. It looked like a feather walking. Owen, who happens to be half giant, could see it. Weird how many things are outside here. So then we walked back to the apartment.... had a bit of an er, tussle. OK, so I took his rope... Its annoying and scary how he is always throwing it towards my face trying to rope me. I mean really? is this necessary? Anyways, I DIDN'T get to cut it up in a million pieces and then burn them like I HAD promised him... Mostly cause he got it back.

So Skyeller is the oddest person I have ever met. He makes me laugh, feel dumb, blush and super comfortable. Anyways.... this is him.

Take Two?

Can you be completely happy yet so angry at the same time?
New rule, I am not allowed give my thoughts towards any lesson until I think them completely out before hand.
I said yes when I knew the answer should be no.
My roommate makes me laugh.
I hate texting, yet I am still waiting for a text.
I haven't had a important conversation in a while.
Basically I wish I could just see Alyssa today.

Last Night

Tonight was Ashli's and Logan's last night. I needed pictures of them for my blog... and they I think secretly wanted me to take pictures of them, so we went out and had some fun. Logan is leaving Tuesday for his mission in Denver, Colorado. I can't wait to get letters from him and laugh at all his funny sarcastic remarks!

Oops! My battery!

So today I talked on the phone with Michael FOREVER.
I blame the Butterfingers.
But I also hung up on him at least 6 times... Oops!
Also, I learned that nap-time is the most IMPORTANT time of day.
Woke up early to help at a race. It was so EARLY.
Almost gotten eaten by a pack (is pack the correct term?) of vultures.
Slept for the afternoonish.
Watched a movie when I had every intention of doing homework.
Went to the Relief Society Broadcast.
Had some deep conversations.
Took pictures.
More conversations.
Then played on facebook.
And now its sleep time!

In BOM class, it doesn't start for like 5 more min's and about 6 people are in there plus me and ash in the back row.

Britt: Your blog is going to be so funny!

Ash: What was Logan saying last night?

Britt: " 'I'll die forever' Really? You're not embarrassed now?"

Ash (high pitched yelps of laughter.)

So I join in...

Few glances from the class. Ash is now gasping for air. Rocking back and forth in her chair...

After like a minute...

Ash: I am sorry(laughing)... I will be right back(LAUGHING)..... (And she walks out)

Now people are straight up staring at me. I wanted to give an explanation, or something. But instead we all sat in the awkward silence with awkward glances.

Why?

So tonight Kyle and I doubled with his roommate Trevor and Emily. We went to their apartment (which was freakishly clean) and they made us dinner (which was really good) and dessert. Then we went to the clock tower and played four square. (Which involved a ball coming towards you.. so i think I played it off well) Then back to there apartment to play Phase 10 . (which is fun but I was so confused) Then home by 11:45.

Then came home. Talked to the roomies for a bit... Ash was MIA so I started on a walk around campus. Texted Ashli and met up with her by the clock tower. ("Hold on. I am coming!" "Hey! That's my roommate") So we decided stars are awesome so we went back to the apartment, got the car and drove to the baseball fields. We had so much to talk/laugh about! I m pretty sure I have the best roommate ever. So we watched stars and talked until we HAD TO come back. (not wanted to) So around 2 a.m. is bed time.. Sweet dreams tonight. ;)

Troubles Of Brittany Black

I turn red and blush ridiculously to much everyday.
Somehow I have the most embarrassing stories to tell.
I might be a little to dramatic for my own good.
I can't ever remember the information while taking the test.
I can't ever seem to get a hold of the people I need the most.
Sometimes I might make dumb choices, but for good reasons.
My thoughts contradict each other.
There is a good chance I am addicted to Mac&Cheese and texting.
And the occasional lapse of thought when I just stare at people.

Wish Upon A Shooting Star...

Tonight Owen and I went and looked at the stars... See I was suppose to go to bed early tonight, well. Worked at the game room till 10 and Monday I walked home from FHE and saw all the twinkling stars and was in awe of them. So tonight I finally saw them for reals. We walked to the baseball field and laid in the grass and just watched the stars. This is probably my favorite night thus far at E.A. It was so cool seeing the shooting stars. We FINALLY saw the same one. Which makes that wish extremely special. Plus we talked forever. So right when we were both (well actually it was more me) going to fall asleep, we came home. Oh wait, its 1 A.M. how does that happen here? Time seems to speed up at night. Stars are amazing. We stared at the milky way forever. Just reminds me how awesome this world is.

Not Enough Time

Longest Weekend EVER

My weekend was INSANE! It started out on Friday about... 3pm. I left my roomy.. :(, and I left for my usual 3 HOUR trip home..... Around Pima (like 5 minutes out) my car started sounding really weird, like I had ran over something.... But after 30 seconds that awful noise went away and I SOON forgot all about it. So on the Rez... just chugging along in Turbo, and then the noise happens AGAIN and I can't drive anymore. So LUCKLY this happened by this like in the middle of no where Texaco. So I make my car drive there and then call Pamella...
Brittany: Pam my car won't go.. I think I ran over something.
Pam: Oh?
Britt: Yeah, I am scared. I am on the Rez.
Pam: Get out and look at it.
Britt (while looking at the driver side, trying to look like I know what I am doing): Ummm... I don't know what is wrong.
Then a guy walks up (we will call him Poco) and said: Have a flat tired?
Britt: (to pam) A man is talking to me. (to poco): No, I think I ran over something.
I then turn around and keep looking at the driver side.
Britt: Pam! What am I going to do?
Pam: What me to come get you?
Britt: YEAH!
Pam: Ok be there in a sec.
Britt: (thinking pam is really close) Where are you???
Pam: Home.
Britt: (sad sigh)
Poco: (Staring at me this whole time) You have a flat tire.
Britt: (to pam) Ugh, the man is talking to me again. (to poco): No, I ran over something.
Now I am standing in front of the car... staring. What am I looking for? I don't know!
Poco: No, I really think you have a flat tire.
So for the first time I walk around to the passenger side and look,,, and yes. I have a flat tire.
Britt: (laughing to pam) I have a flat tire.
Poco fixes my tire, very nice man... And I am on the road again. But I have to stop at Globe for my dad to come get me because the donut tire is on the "driving tire" and has to be changed.
So 3 HOURS later, my sister, dad and mom show up to get me. I am in Globe people... Globe! NOTHING to do in Globe, besides hang out at the local WalMart! Haha! So at around 11, I arrive home and get picked up by MEIGEN and ALYSSA! We go cruising around dancing! Then we get out and start dancing. Then to Meigen's house to watch.. Maid of Honor. I totally feel asleep. Woke up and Jacob V. was staring at me. LOL! ("was that Jacob?") So we finally go home at 3 a.m. I was so tired! So I like fall into my bed.

How do I wake up? Oh yeah, my mom throws my phone at me. So me and Meigen have lunch with Kathy Schroeder at 5&Dine. Came home. Stayed for 30 minutes. I felt so sick, but went to see Michael at Sonic. Apparently Michael is the only one allowed to be ill. (Michael: "Your not sick" after looking at me for like a sec) So then, came home. Picked my car up from getting new pretty tires, and went shopping with Meigen. Then came home, wanted to sleep, but never did. So Megien comes over like an hour later and picks me up and we are off to go meet everyone at Claim Jumper. There was six of us total. Meigen, Alyssa, Angela, Rachel, Taylor and ME! Its so fun being all together... I don't think we ever stopped laughing. OK... So dinner. Then back to Taylors house. We didn't know where to go. Apparently I was suppose to be in charge of plans? Yeah, cause I am ALWAYS clubin'? So we found a spot. I got to see all the Webbs. I miss them. Then 6 people pile in the car. And we are off. Only... its a little early when we arrive so we go to the Dairy Queen. GOODTIMES there! Mormons kids are like normal kids, just we are are sober when we do the dumb things. So everytime I asked Meigen something, she said... Blue. And that was soo funny. I was dying! So then the dancing. Well we didn't go out at first, cause weird people were out there. So we played "I've never". Then we danced! It was like high school, but fun. So a few hours later.... we were back in the car driving home, so tired! So around 2 am I feel asleep.

Woke up just in time to get to church... so close to sleeping through it. Bobby and Sarah were there with Chloe and Sophie. They are getting so big! So then, after an unfortunate experience, I left and saw Cory Hughes! Haven't seen him in forever. Then came home... procrastinated for like ever! And finally left for school. By now its like 5pm and I should fall over tired. So of course... I am driving! Get to the end of the town Superior, skreech to a holt for a white tall rat dog. Then driving alot in my little Turbo and again... lights are going off. Ugh! So many times lately. So I pull over. I figure out that my lights were out. Haha! I am such a dork. So he takes my licenses, and goes back to look at it. Then a SVU police car shows up, a minute later a another car pulls up. So I am thinking... I am totally going to jail. But, turns out they were just all chatting and I left without a ticket. Sweet. So then I arrived at school. Around 8:30. So happy to see Ash. The end!

My bed broke? Me and Iz were sitting on my bed. Ash and Logan came over to see my laptop. Then snap... the foot board broke. Ouch. 2 max. Not 4. Lol. Sam came over and fixed it. Hahaha.

Think Fast

So I had a toothache Monday morning, and I went to my first class and then called my mom. She said to come home to the dentist as soon as I could. So I called, made an appointment and was on my way. Aw, it was a little sad leaving Ashli. I seriously was gone maybe a minute and was at the gas station filling up my tank and received this message from her, "I miss you already". AW. She is more than my roommate, she is my friend! LOL! ;). So..... Ugh. The ride home is so long. I was trying to make good time, kinda backfired on me a bit. But when I got home it was like heaven. Seriously, I am so dramatic. I start getting off the 101 on 7Th Ave. and was tearing up because I missed it so much. HA HA. So I then when to Taylor, oh wait... I saw Michael, "Talked to him for like a second". Finally got my scriptures back. I have been using tiny ones for the past month, so these feel like I am holding the original golden plates. OK.... So then I saw Taylor! What a strange concept that we have different friends. But it was so good to see her and her family. My Webb family. Then hung out with the family... My brother got glasses! He looks SO DANG CUTE! Some people look really good in glasses, Rocky and I happen to be those people. LOL. But so modest and not at all vain. So Tuesday, I had my appointment. Then I came home and Pamella had done all my laundry! I thought I was going to have to leave without it done. That was a nice surprise. So before I left Ben came over to visit. I miss Ben so much. He always has the best stories of people being dumb. It was so good to see him. Then I left, but not till 5, so I was in rush hour traffic. Yeah, dumb. But Taylor made me a CD for the ride home, and I listened to it 3 times. It was really good. Everything I started falling asleep I sang " SHAKE SHAKE, SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE IT!" haha. Then I got home around 8:30. Skyeller came over and we watched The Cave, thinking it would be really scary. I don't know what it is about people but when I tell them I get scared easily, that excites them. But the movie was lame, scary but lame. So around 2 in the morning we went to bed. Hahaha.

Sunday Cookies!

Ok so every Sunday I make cookies, its suppose to be a service thing and I deliver half of them and then we eat the rest.... Well, the cookies didn't last that long. But lots of people came over so it wasn't just us that were eating them. And Alyssa was making brownies (really we normally never have this much junk food). HAHA. But it was fun. I made the cookie batter, which... ok I have seen a few people do this, but I just thought they were weird. They jus eat the batter? Like in a bowl... weird... Interesting though.... So anyways I started talking to Logan and Ashli (Logan was trying me on my Sunglasses) and Alyssa ended up finishing making them for me. What a Pal! We are starting to have so many missionaries leave, can't wait to start actually sending them things!!! HeHe...
