Arrive at church. Meigen surprises her own family by just going up and sitting next to them.

Go home, pack see few friends and leave to the Farewell dinner.

Eat and say Hi to a few old friends and bye to Jeremy. Can I please point out I won't see him for 2 years? I am so excited for his mission! He is going to be a great missionary.

Michael New Years. Oh gezzz...

Rocky at his SURPRISE (ish) 18th birthday party.

Day after Thanksgiving decorating the house! We are all wearing Santa hats, and TRYING to take a picture. Simba was NOT to happy!

So while at Home Depot one time Michael was checking out at a "self-checkout" and I pushed the Spanish button right before he started. I was laughing but then got side tracked with something and walked away. Well... I look back and Michael is having some serious problems. I thought he was in Spanish? Oh my goodness, I was laughing so HARD! He was so angry and embarrassed but was laughing, I think to keep from yelling at me. Finally someone helped out. Oh, you see this nice, funny look he is giving? Yeah, it's deceiving.

So my big activity today was our painting war! Its pretty self explainatory. But I was confused. I kept asking what a paint war was. What was going to happen? What are we going to do? How does this work? So we were out on the baseball field opening our cans of paint. I was still asking, "So... what are we going to do? How do we have a paint war?" That's when Cristal dunks her hand into the open can and then hits me with a ton of purple paint. "That's what you do." OK, I have to say... that is a nice demostration. So, just look at the pictures, it's worth a thousand words.

Today I about gave myself a heart attack. Quite literally. I was home by myself. Oh wait, I should tell you, last night I watched What Lies Beneath. Scary Scary SCARY movie! I screamed through the complete end and held on to Ashli for dear life. So today I was home by myself doing homework. (Lets please point our the fact I was actually doing homework, very cool huh?)

I just wrote out my scary story but it was extremely boring. The point is I was blow drying my hair and someone knocked on the door. I couldn't turn off the blowing thing. I kept hitting all the wrong buttons and threw it on the floor and ran with my round brush to the door. Well, once at the door I wasn't sure what I was going to do. But I had my brush and I mean, it was in the middle of the day. So I opened the door. And at the door, NO JOKE... A girl stood there with a sweatshirt over her face and two boys behind her. Weird. But anyways. Then later my phone rang and I think I was paralyzed. No joke, it was exactly a week since I watched the The Ring.

ANYWAYS, I am sitting on the couch with Joe, Izzy and Ashli. It's 11p.m. and we are in the mist of discussing watching a movie.

Earlier I was in the game room with Skyeller and Ashli watching Brotherhood of the Wolves. It was in all French with subtitles. I am NORMALLY against anything that requires my to read, but it was pretty good.

OK, goodnight. We just put on the movie and the previews are still on but I think its my bedtime. I am just that tired and old, and lame.

Tonight I went to see Owen at his new apartment and to see his pretty pretty HORSEY! Ha ha. It was pretty dark when I arrived so I couldn't take pictures with the Jay Jay like I wanted to. But he showed me these things he made. It was really cool. And all horse shoes. It was fun. The stars are so pretty where he lives.

Basically this is 24 school credits and 14 institute credits. I have lots of goals (I wouldn't quite call it a plan yet) for this next year. I hope that this schedule will allow me to accomplish that. I have to say though, I can't wait for May 6Th. I LOVE SCHOOL. I have missed this atmosphere, and I love that Meigen is with me. But I am so busy, and I am going to have to set a bedtime:(. This is called "self disciple". I hear that 9:30 is a good one. ;]. But I am going to go with 10:30. Hopefully that is something I can keep to and make a habit.

So I will clean my room (I am barely on my bed because it is piled high with clothes and books) then finish my homework. Go work out, maybe attend a (optional) lecture and go to bed. If I do all these things by 10:30 tonight, I will call it a success. I have only 6 hours! I better get going!

So, I might be a little vain. This is true. But hello, I went from longish hair to SHORT. So when I see my reflection, I stop and stare. This is so embarrassing to admit, but I feel a little guilty about it. So now you know. Ok, well I was going to take a really cute picture today since Ashli did my hair early this morning. (Thanks Ash! Don't I just have the best roommate in the world?) But I took this one during my night class and I don't have the energy to pose again. (Along with vain, I am also extremely lazy.) So my post is mostly so show off my hair. Wow. I need to be humbled. But it is also showing off IZZY'S amazing workmanship. She did such a great cutting job. And ASHLI'S awesome styling. Wow, takes an army to make me look presentable.

I wish Pamella could see this hair! I look so EA now! I am excited to FINALLY be fitting in. ;]

Hawiian Hay Stacks...

The latest trend in the Toaster Number 4 Apartment is

"every night a movie night."

Sooo... every night Izzy, Joe, Meigen and sometimes David and Owen come over to join Ashli, Alyssa and myself in watching scary movies. I believe they mostly get there humor out of laughing at my screams. But tonight we ALSO had dinner. It was soo good. After dinner/before the movie we ALSO cut my hair, and Alyssa's too. This might be shocking for my readers (mainly my MOM) mostly because I haven't told anyone I was doing it and it's A LOT shorter than I imagined. BUT, I love it. I love change. And I wanted something DRAMATIC, and Izzy did such a GREAT job on it. Thanks so much. We then ended the night watching Deep Waters. Lame. I fell asleep through the first half and screamed at the end. Nothing still compares to The Ring. WHOA, talk about SCARY. OK. Once again it's past 1 A.M. and I am not sleeping. well good night. Peace love and a robot.

OK! I am not a You Tube person. But Meigen has me so addicted! She showed me and Ashli for hours "Fails" on you tube. I have never laughed so hard. I was dying at this one video. This post is mostly for Rocky. So he can laugh too. I had 3 favorite.

First was the "DANCE FAIL". This girl is just way into herself.


OK "Scare Fail". If you are not laughing at that... Well this will kill you. I was on the ground literally gasping.


Finally "Beach Invasion Fail". This is more for Rocky than anything...

Days . . .

It is interesting how you spend your time.

Tonight was... interesting.

It started with a lengthy phone conversation. A record one I believe. Then it was me making my normal dinner: Mac and Cheese. Yes, I still haven't gone food shopping and can't make anything else. Then it was a short conversation with Ashli on being "social". This resulted in us going with Izzy and Meigen to the institute dance. That was surprisingly fun, we had some crazy line dancing! Next we had some pictures time. But my batteries died... sad. Time for a Walmart trip! Hooray! I was VERY distracted by the sound cards. Its hard to concentrate with ALL of them staring at me. So our trip for JUST batteries ended up being a LONG trip and I checked out with some valentines cards. :] So after deciding that we were NOT going 4wheeling, we chose the "scary movie" option. (Why? I don't know!) We came back to the apartment and got ready, I changed into my "scary movie pj's". We played a short game of "Have you never" with Alyssa while waiting for Joe to come. (I am pretty sure Joe thinks I am insane. But that's another story.) Then it was time for the movie. I chose The Ring. I am such a chicken, and EVERYONE knows it. I started sitting in between Ashli and Joe. Holding Ashli's hand lasted for like a second. She bailed on me and laid on the floor. (Ended up falling asleep. How do you fall asleep at a time like this? Sick and twisted I tell you!) So it was only poor Joe left. Poor kid. I am a such a baby. I am pretty sure I like jumped on him like 5 times. But I did ofter him Francesco to hold, in case he was scared. Luckily he declined my offer and let me keep him. I was grateful, I wasn't ready to give up my frog. I screamed and whispered "I am so scared. I am so scared." over and over, and jumped, and covered my eyes throughout the entire movie. I was so nervous. I can't believe I ask for these nights. I can't sleep by myself now, I am still freaking out, so Meigen is staying over and we are sleeping on the couch. I am so happy that she is here. Ashli thought I was joking about the whole "I am sleeping with you tonight" comment. Apparently I am a bit dramatic, maybe I shouldn't watch scary movies? To bad we still have What Lies Beneath to view. Great. Nightmares for a month. Meigen will get sick of sleeping over. I miss being able to sleep with Pamella after these movies. OK, that's my exciting night. ;] How was yours?
