Brittany's Magical World

"It's not all going to fit."
"
Yes Alyssa, I PROMISE you it will."

"Yeah, in Brittany's Magical World it might."

Moving to school is extremely more exciting exciting when you have 1 truck, 3 girls, 1 boy and every one's stuff. My good friend and roommate AJ wasn't very optimistic about being able to fit all our furniture in one trip and still be able to have room to sit and breathe inside the truck. But just as I promised, it fit and we made the 3 hour trip down without losing anything. On the mountain just before you reach Globe, they are extending the freeway. This resulted us waiting 30minutes in a blasting zone. (listen to Brian Regan about 'blasting zones')

As soon as we pulled into our apartment complex, Adam (a friend from last semester) came out and helped Rocky move some of the heavier things up stairs. You can always count on Thatcher boys to help you move in. I was in such a hurry to leave, I forgot my keys. It is only really a true Thatcher stay if you climb through the window at least once. We moved our stuff in side and headed to Rocky's apartment to drop his things off.

After picking up his number 10 key, we set off to look for the number 10 trailer. You would think it be labeled 10 and be directly after number 9. Yes, maybe in every other part of the world besides Thatcher it would. I should know by now Thatcher has it's own personalized way of counting, along with a million other little corks that make it the town I love.
We walked around Howard's Place looking for 10 a few times. Keep in mind that it was about 4pm and 2000 degrees outside with the chance of heat stoke. We were cooking so Rocky picked us up and we laid in the bed of the truck while he drove the same circles we made on foot, still in search for number 10. After we decided this was a sick joke, we went back to the landlords house to demand the meaning of selling us an apartment that didn't exist! After a few more aggravating situations, we discovered that it went from 9 to 12 because in Thatcher 12 is really number 10.

We ended the night tired, hungry and hot.
It was only ten when we fell asleep, though it felt like 1. Ash came over the next morning and we just sat and talked in the apartment for a while. It was nice to be back at school and just catch up. When I am at school, in my apartment, I just feel just like a college student -a feeling that isn't the most dominate at home during the summer. It makes me excited for my ever changing future.
Magical World Indeed.
